ODS Names Thomas Bikales as Manager of Legal Affairs

Portland, Ore. - The ODS Companies (ODS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Thomas Bikales to the newly-created position of Legal Affairs Manager. Bikales will be responsible for overseeing interaction with outside legal counsel, as well as monitoring regulatory requirements and other issues.

Prior to joining ODS, Bikales was an associate with the law firm of Ropes & Gray, LLP in Boston, Mass. He holds a bachelor's degree from Harvard, a master's degree from the University of Chicago and a Ph.D. from New York University, all in cultural anthropology. In addition, he has a J.D. from Yale Law School and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar. “We are quite pleased to be able to add Tom to The ODS Companies,” said Andrew Franklin, ODS Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “His unique abilities and legal acumen will be an excellent asset to our day-to-day operations.”
