Voluntary Dental

ODS Voluntary Dental plans allow individual employees the opportunity to enjoy a comprehensive dental plan. They do not require every employee in the company participate. The plans offer long-term rate stability for members, and make it easier for employers to offer a quality dental benefit.

Provider Network

The plans utilize our Delta Dental Premier Network, which is the largest contracted network of dentists in Oregon. For companies with employees working in other states, ODS offers access to over 114,000 dentists nationwide through our affiliation with the Delta Dental Plans. We are the only local dental plan offering a national network solution.

Enrollment and Administration

ODS Voluntary dental plans are easy to administer. Groups simply collect subscriber payments through their regular payroll deductions and submit payment and eligibility information to us. We do everything else.

Plan Requirements

ODS reserves the right to review these rates if the census of the eligible individuals varies by more than 10% from the census provided with the quote request.
Minimum enrollment:
ODS groups with 40 or more employees: a minimum of 25% participation; at least 10 employees must enroll
Willamette Dental groups with 20 or more employees: a minimum of 25 % participation; at least 5 employees must enroll
Employer to set up payroll deductions and submit premium on behalf of their employees.
ODS Voluntary Dental plans cannot co-exist with another dental plan offered by another carrier.
Employees participating in the ODS Voluntary Dental program are required to contribute to the monthly premium for the plan in which they are enrolled. Employee contributions may be up to 100% of the premium.
