The Beneficial Plan has the same benefits as the Preferred Option except the plan deductible is waived for 3 office visits and 3 alternative care visits per person per plan year. The ODS Beneficial Plan has two deductible choices of $5000 and $7,500.

Plan Highlights

First-dollar coverage including 3 PCP office visits before the deductible applies. One of the 3 visits may be used for the annual preventive care visit for any age or gender
Chiropractic, acupuncture and naturopathic care covered with the first 3 visits at a $20 copay and additional visits covered after the deductible, payable up to $1,000 per person per year
Deductible waived for treatment received within 90 days of an accident
Annual deductible choices of $5,000 and $7,500
80% reimbursement of prescriptions after the deductible is met

This plan pays a higher level of benefit when you chose a participating provider within our extensive network of over 12,000 participating providers. However, you may receive care from any eligible provider, regardless if they are participating or not. In the event you see a non-participating provider, your out-of-pocket costs will be higher.

You can benefit from a low monthly premium of a major medical plan with the extra benefit of having the deductible waived for 3 office visits each plan year. The plan pays 80% of all eligible services after the deductible.

The Beneficial Plan is an individual health benefit plan available for Oregon residents under age 65 who are not eligible for Medicare. Eligible individuals include you, your legal spouse and any unmarried children under age 19 or 23, depending on certain conditions.
