Improving the health of our members has been our mission for the last half-century.

ODS is ever changing with new plan offerings to meet the healthcare needs of our customers. Effective July 2005 we added more customer driven HSA compliant plans in our 51+ group market. Our new Beneficial plans for all group sizes offer a lower premium option. This plan pays one office visit for preventive care per calendar year and the first office visit for illness and injury, with a $20 co-pay.

Benefit changes enrich our plans with an increase in Alternative Care aggregate calendar year maximum from $1,000 to $1,500. Alternative care by non-participating providers is paid at the participating benefit level. Increased aggregate maximum benefit for hospice home care visits and respite care from $8,000 to $15,000.

ODS provides a number of services that help our members stay healthy and make informed decisions about their healthcare needs. These services are included at no additional cost with all fully insured medical plans such as myODS, eDocAmerica, Registered Nurse Advice Line, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Employer on Line Services (EOS). We strive to meet our customer's needs by going beyond the basics.
