New ODS Individual Plans Well Received by Agents

Our July 2005 Individual Plan renewal is off to a roaring start. Our two new Beneficial plans and one new Health Savings Account (HSA) options have been well received by the market and membership on these plans is growing rapidly. These new plans help to round out our already outstanding array of designs in our individual medical and dental product portfolio. We're even hearing from agents who haven't called us for awhile, intrigued by our plan designs, value-added benefits, competitive rates and easy to read new brochure.

Since we've captured your attention, here are just a few reminders that differentiate ODS Individual Plans from our competitors:

We allow the younger spouse as the primary applicant, regardless of the age span
We allow multiple children on one application (with no adults), using the insured and children rate.
We offer prescreening service from our underwriting department via to allow you to ask a question about insurability before submitting an application.
We allow you to submit applications online and get credit for the sale.
We offer youth rates on all our plans
We offer dental options (with medical) that allow you to choose your own dentist
We pay mammograms with only a $20 co-payment by in-network providers on our Plus, Beneficial, Preferred PPO and Traditional plans - not subject to deductible.
We waive the deductible for preventive care on our H.S.A. plans
We waive the deductible for treatment completed within 90 days of an accident on non-H.S.A. plans.
We offer vision discounts through selected providers for exams and hardware.
We include Edoc America with membership so you can ask healthcare questions from board-certified physicians via email with unlimited access.
We include a free pharmacy discount card with any plan whose prescription benefit is subject to the deductible. We also offer the card as a stand-alone product.
