Dental Exchange Program

ODS renewed our Individual products last July with some exciting changes. One of the most anticipated was the introduction of our Individual Dental Exchange program to the state. This is a conversion or "portability" dental plan available to those losing an employer-sponsored group dental policy - whether the previous dental plan was ODS or not. This program will provide an option to continue dental coverage on an individual basis and is the only “dental-only” individual dental plan that we offer. To be eligible, the applicant must have had 12-months of continuous prior group qualifying coverage; apply within 90 days of losing that coverage; and reside in Oregon .

The Individual Dental Exchange program provides for Class I services at 80 percent, Class II at 80 percent, and Class III services at 50 percent. All three elections have a $1,000 annual maximum, a yearly $50 deductible, and low monthly rates.
