If July is any indication of the coming year for new group sales, it should be a great 2007-08’ for all of us! As a result, this provides an excellent opportunity for us to remind you about the mechanics of enrolling an ODS group plan, in the most effective and efficient way possible. Below, is a list of items to keep an eye out for as you work with your client in completing ODS enrollment paperwork:

Update: In order to provide better, overall service to our new employer groups in the group enrollment process, ODS will be implementing a “drop dead date” of when we will accept new groups. Beginning with our 10/1/2007 business, ODS will accept completed group applications and enrollment forms no later than the 20th of the month for a first of the following months effective date. For example: to get a 10/1 eff date, group enrollment information is required to be in an ODS office no later than 9/20. This way, new ODS members will likely have an ODS id card in their hands by the first of the month.
