Quoting Small Group (2-50) business and outgoing renewals for a 4/1 effective date will be delayed.

As you know the State of Oregon has been wrestling with the underwriting rules for the Small Group market (2-50).  This has delayed the approval of our final filed rates for 4/1/08.  We are expecting our rates to be approved by the State very soon. Given the circumstances, ODS does not have an exact date as to the release of rates.

Like you, we are anxious to release our 4/1 renewals and also allow you to quote new business for 4/1 and after.

Quick Reminders:

1. ODS has established new rules when quoting on employer groups with less than 5 enrolled. Your Speedy-e-Rates on groups with less than 5 enrolled will be suspended in the system until we receive the submission cover sheet with one of the following three documents. 

2. The State of Oregon is requiring your clients to submit the Oregon Standardized Group Profile Form with all renewals and new business 4/1/08 and after.  Your client will be subject to a non-renewal if we do not get this form prior to the renewal. We are not able to process new business if this form is not part of the New Group Enrollment packet. The new form will be part of our Speedy-e-rates application process.
