Children’s Program update
We want to thank ODS dentists for your support of The Children’s Program. This program has allowed many children to get care who would not have otherwise received treatment.
We are pleased to report that, to date, around 1500 children have been enrolled to see ODS dentists and over 2600 children have been enrolled since the beginning of the program.
This program is funded through a dentist withhold. The withhold was stopped temporarily in 2011 due to adequate funding at that time and resumed August 2011 to allow additional enrollees. ODS donates administrative costs to allows all the dollars from by the dental community to apply directly to dental care for the children.
