ODS is the Delta Dental Plan for Oregon. Delta Dental Plans Association (DDPA) is a national organization of local, not-for-profit dental plans that provide group employers with dental benefits. As a member of DDPA, ODS has access to a national network of dentists throughout the United States. Dentists who participate with ODS automatically become a participant in the DDPA network.

When the Delta network is accessed, claims are processed based on current fees and participation with ODS. ODS provides the current participation status and current accepted fees for each participating dentist to Delta Dental.

ODS provides the following Dental plans:

Delta Dental Premier

There are several Delta Dental Premier plans which offer a variety of benefit levels. These plans allow patients to choose from the widest possible list of participating dentists. If your office participates with the Delta Dental Premier product, then you are participating with the Delta Dental fee-for-service product.

Delta Dental PPO

Delta Dental PPO utilizes a select group of dentists who have contracted with us at preferred rates. This plan offers a higher level reimbursement to patients who utilize the services of a preferred dentist.

Other Types

Members who have the ODS Medicare Supplement or an Individual Medical Plan are also able to purchase an ODS Dental Plan. In addition, ODS also offers ODS Select Choice, Direct Reimbursement, Oregon Health Plan, and the Deferred Compensation Plan (OHP).
