ODS Oregon Health Plan offers language translation services for OHP members. Notification of two business days before an appointment is requested for language translation and two weeks’ notice for sign interpretation. Please call ODS Customer Service and provide the following information:
If your patient requires a referral to a specialist, the following information is needed:
ODS Oregon Health Plan no longer allows benefits for services that are “buy-ups” from allowed services. For example, an additional client payment to obtain a gold crown (not covered) instead of the stainless steel crown (covered). Exception: Composite or similar restorations on posterior teeth will be allowed at the amalgam fee.
Since ODS Oregon Health Plan patients can change dentists, we recommend you contact Customer Service for limitations.
If there is a delay in claim payment, please call Customer Service before resubmitting the claim.
A clinical narrative and/or X-rays may be requested for some services. It is recommended that you do not submit X-rays unless requested.
