How secure is the information inputted into EOS site?
Your computer must have 128-byte encryption. You are assigned a logon specific to your group and you will be responsible to assign your own password. This password should not be shared with other employees.
How much does it cost to use EOS?
This is a free service offered to all of our groups. Your group does not have to be a specific size to use this service.
If you are using the same day pharmacy feature, how long must a member wait until their prescription is filled?
It will take 2 hours for the prescription to be filled at the pharmacy, if the same day pharmacy feature is used during ODS' business hours (Monday-Friday, 7:30-5:30 p.m.) The same day pharmacy feature is not guaranteed on weekends.
Do I have to enroll every subscriber into EOS?
No. You have the ability to use any feature of EOS that you choose. If you find you only want to order ID cards or make changes that is fine. If you decide you do not want to enroll subscribers, continue sending your enrollment forms or applications to your billing and eligibility specialist.
If I do not enroll subscribers into EOS, how long will it take for them to be enrolled in the ODS system by the specialist?
The turn-around time to enroll a subscriber through your specialist is 10 days. It is an overnight process if you as the employer enroll them through EOS.
If I enroll an employee into EOS, do I have to send in the enrollment form?
ODS is not requiring groups to submit enrollment forms when the change to a members eligibility is entered in EOS. However, groups are required to retain all enrollment materials, regardless of media, for a period of seven years and, upon request, to provide ODS with reasonable access to such enrollment materials.
If I make a change on EOS or enroll an employee, when will the updates appear in the system?
Changes or enrollments that are made in EOS will be extracted from the system at 7 o'clock in the evening. Your changes and enrollments will show the next day. If you entered information after 7 o'clock in the evening on EOS your changes will show the day after next. The information that is input into EOS is an instant view here at ODS. For example, an employee contacts ODS Customer Service the same day as the update, the Customer Service Representative will immediately view the update made on EOS.
When is EOS available?
EOS is available seven days a week.
