It's still far too early to assess the full impact of what's happening this week on Capitol Hill. Some pundits hail the birth of a new Golden Age. Others decry the end of civilization as we know it. Let's try to cut through the clutter and answer the question I'm sure many of you are asking: "What does all this mean for me and my partnership with ODS?"
First, let us say this: For more than 50 years, ODS has been finding creative ways to forge new relationships that best address the needs of our customers. Through our medical and dental plans; through our Medicare and Medicaid programs; through individual, small and large group products as well as through our unique pharmacy offerings; we are positioned in this changing healthcare landscape to even better serve you all.
This week, we have launched here at ODS a Healthcare Reform Implementation Strike Force. It includes many of the most senior members of our management team. Together, they will oversee all aspects of coming changes as they develop, then share with you all appropriate information, insight and analysis.
