In 1955, the International Longshoremen’s and Warehousemen’s Union set out to find affordable dental health coverage for its members and their families. The search led them to Oregon Dental Service® (ODS), founder of the first prepaid dental plan in America. Ever since, ODS has remained a pioneer in affordable health plans. With our innovative, evidence-based health plans, our diverse networks and member programs, and our superb customer service, ODS continues to be the health leader throughout the Pacific Northwest.
